At a point in time when it was not yet established where Mother Sita was being held captive by Ravana, the search party headed from Jambhudwipa (Bharat) towards the East following directions given in a route-map by Sugreeva (the 'vanara' king), which would lead the 'vanaras' right up to Shalmali-Dvipa (Australia) and from there on to the Andes in South America. The Ramayana refers to the Andes as the 'Udaya' Mountains. 'Udaya' is Sanskrit word for 'Sunrise'. Sugreeva further says to Vanaras that, while reaching Udaya-Adri, they will see Jaat-Shila-Rupa (Golden Rock Peak), etched on which is a 'golden pylon resembling a palm tree with three branches with a golden podium'. Sugreeva continues, “That pylon of palm tree is constructed as the easterly compass by celestial gods, beyond which lies the Udaya Adri (Sunrise mountain).” Viracocha, the God of Sun and storm Paracas Trident of Peru, is a geo-glyph in the Andes Mountains and is regarded in the native folklore as the ‘Lightening Rod‘ of God Viracocha, a pre-Incan Civilization God of Peru/Bolivia. Interestingly, Viracocha was worshipped as god of the Sun and Storms and he carried thunderbolts in his hands. Paracas could be a distorted version of sanskrit word ‘Prakash‘ (प्रकाश्) which means light, lustre or brightness. Another word could be ‘parakash‘ (पराकाश) which means ‘distant view‘, as this trident could have served as a guiding beacon for ancient. -Shlokas in Kishkindha Kanda of Valmiki Ramayana This is the 'shlokas' in Ramayana where Sugreeva asks his 'Vanaras' to go East in search of Mother Sita. He explains that 'Devas' built this structure to mark the Eastern Boundary of their kingdom. The structure is the golden colored 'Trishula' which is carved on a mountain. Further he explains that beyond this 'Trishula' is a huge mountain - which is the existing Andes Mountain Range. This structure of Paracas Trident is still present at Paracas (Ica, Nazca) Peru. It is estimated to be approximately 595 – 800 feet tall and can be seen from as far as 12 miles out at sea. Interestingly, these descriptions in the Ramayana bear a resemblance to the geographical features of the Andes mountains in South America, particularly in Peru. The Paracas Trident, a large ancient geoglyph etched into the Andes, is linked to local folklore and the deity Viracocha, who is considered the god of the Sun and Storms. The trident is thought to be a guiding beacon, much like the celestial pylon described in the Ramayana. This connection suggests that the ancient Indian text may have been describing the Andes in Peru as the "Land of the Rising Sun," with Udaya Adri being analogous to these South American mountains. The trident in Peru, like the pylon in the Ramayana, symbolizes divine guidance and power, aligning with Hindu symbolism of creation, maintenance, and destruction. #paracas #paracasatrident #paracasperu #ayodhya #shriram #lordram #VoiceofMaheedhar #Hinduism #Sanatanadharmam #Bhakti #History #RealFacts #Maheedhar #Facts #Mysteries #historical #trending #bharatavarsha #unknownfacts #ancientscience #ancientindia #trident #ramayan #perutravel #geoglyph #perucountry #paracastown #mountcook #ancientbeliefs #ancientculture #ancientmaps #viracocha #godofsun

In ancient Indian cosmology, Jambudweepa is the name of the largest of the seven concentric islands, considered the middle of the universe, and Bharat Khand (also known as Bharatvarsha) is the geographical name for the Indian subcontinent. It refers to the landmass stretching from the Himalayas to the southern tip and the Bay of Bengal to the Arabian Sea. The terms Jambu Dweep, Bharat Khande, Aryavarta, and Bharatvarsha are rooted in ancient Indian geography and mythology, and they have significant cultural and historical meanings: Jambu Dweep: This term refers to the mythical land described in ancient Indian texts, particularly in the Puranas. It is often identified with the Indian subcontinent and is said to be shaped like a Jambu tree (rose apple). The concept symbolizes the Earth and its various regions as understood in ancient Indian cosmology. Bharat Khande: This term translates to "the land of Bharat" or "Bharat's region." These include the discovery of sites matching the epic's descriptions of cities and battles, as well as artifacts like weapons and pottery that align with the era. Here's a more detailed look at the evidence: 1. Archaeological Sites and Artifacts: Over 35 archaeological sites have been discovered in northern India that align with the descriptions of cities mentioned in the Mahabharata. These sites have yielded artifacts like copper utensils, iron implements, seals, and ornaments, suggesting a real world civilization similar to the one depicted in the epic. A Times of India article mentions the discovery of iron arrows and spearheads at Kurukshetra, the site of the Mahabharata war, dating back to the time period mentioned in the epic. 2. The Submerged City of Dwarka: The discovery of a submerged city off the coast of Gujarat, known as Dwarka, has been linked to the Mahabharata's mention of a city named Dwarka, described as the capital of Krishna. Archaeological findings in Dwarka, including fortified walls, gateways, and harbors, align with the descriptions in the Mahabharata. The epic also mentions Dwarka sinking into the sea, which is corroborated by the underwater evidence discovered at the site. 3. Time Period and Cultural Context: Archaeological evidence, including the dating of artifacts, suggests a possible link between the Mahabharata and the Painted Grey Ware culture, a period in Indian history. Some scholars believe that the war described in the Mahabharata may have taken place during this period, around 750-350 BCE. 4. Other Puranas and Texts: Other Hindu texts, like the Harivamsa Purana, also mention the grandeur of Dwarka, further supporting the archaeological findings. The Vishnu Purana also references Dwarka, adding to the body of evidence linking the epic to real-world history. Important Considerations: While the evidence suggests a possible historical basis for the Mahabharata, it's important to remember that the epic is also a work of literature, with elements of myth and legend. The Mahabharata's narrative may be a composite of various historical events, local traditions, and cultural myths, making it difficult to pinpoint a precise historical accuracy. Some scholars debate whether the epic is purely mythical or based on real events, and the evidence presented here supports both sides of the argument. The 12th-century Kashmiri chronicler Kalhana characterizes Lalitaditya as a "world conqueror", crediting him with miraculous powers and extensive conquests across India and Central Asia. While Kalhana's account is not supported by contemporary records and largely rejected as exaggerations, he is accepted as the most powerful king of his dynasty. The chronicles of the neighbouring Tang dynasty present him as a vassal-ally, and his involvement in the Tang campaigns may have contributed to his reputation as a great conqueror in Kashmir. Lalitaditya commissioned a number of shrines in Kashmir, including the now-destroyed Martand Sun Temple. He also established several towns, including a new capital at Parihasapura. The main source of information about Lalitaditya is Rajatarangini, a chronicle of the rulers of Kashmir, by the 12th-century Kashmiri writer Kalhana. Lalitaditya also finds a brief mention in the New Book of Tang (Xin Tang shu), a record of the Tang dynasty of China. This text mentions him as "Mu-to-pi" or "Muduobi" (a variation of Muktapida). The 11th-century Persian chronicler Al-Biruni mentions a Kashmiri king called Muttai, who was most probably Lalitaditya ("Muttai" being derived from the Apabhramsha form of "Muktapida"). The Rajatarangini names Lalitaditya as the youngest son of the Karkota king Durlabhaka (alias Pratapaditya) and queen Narendra Prabha. His mother Narendraprabha was previously married to a foreign merchant settled in Kashmir. He had two elder brothers named Chandrapida (alias Vajraditya) and Tarapida (alias Udayaditya), who preceded him as the rulers of Kashmir. Kalhana states that Lalitaditya's reign lasted for 36 years, 7 months and 11 days. He suggests that Lalitaditya ruled during 724-761 CE. However, this is not correct, as Lalitaditya's predecessor is known to have sent an embassy to the Tang capital Chang'an in 720 CE. This predecessor, mentioned as "Tianmu" in the Tang records, was probably Tarapida, although some scholars have identified him as Chandrapida. Modern historians date Lalitaditya's reign to c. 724/5 - c. 760 CE. Lalitaditya claimed to be a descendant of the mythical Nāga king Karkotaka. Much more is explained in Telugu in our above video. While the assertion that India "ruined" Rome is a bit dramatic, the substantial trade between the two civilizations did contribute to the Roman Empire's economic challenges, particularly the drain of precious metals like gold and silver. Rome's demand for luxury goods from India, like silk and spices, led to a significant outflow of Roman coinage, which eventually contributed to economic instability. Here's a more detailed explanation: Drain of Precious Metals: The Roman Empire was a major consumer of Indian goods like silk, spices, and other luxury items. These goods were highly valuable, and the Roman Empire used gold and silver to pay for them. Decline in Coinage: The outflow of gold and silver to pay for Indian imports led to a decline in the amount of coinage within the Roman Empire. Economic Challenges: This decline in coinage, along with other economic factors, contributed to inflation and the debasement of Roman currency. Trade as a Factor: While trade with India was a significant factor, it's important to remember that it was one of many factors that contributed to the Roman Empire's economic decline, such as military spending, political instability, and other economic challenges, according to Quora. Tax Revenues: The trade with India also generated tax revenues for Rome, which were important for the imperial budget, according to Medium. Shifting Trade: While Rome faced economic challenges, trade with India continued to be important, and eventually shifted to the Persian Gulf. Much more is explained in Telugu in our above video. During the Pallava period (3rd–9th century CE), it played a crucial role in shaping Cambodia’s religious and cultural landscape. Through trade and cultural exchanges, Hinduism became deeply ingrained in Khmer civilization, influencing art, architecture, governance, and traditions—many of which endured even as Buddhism later rose to prominence. Funan, an ancient kingdom in Southeast Asia, was the first major Indianized kingdom in Cambodia, profoundly influenced by Hinduism. According to legend, in the 1st–2nd century CE, an Indian Brahmin named Kaundinya arrived in Funan, married a local princess, and integrated Hindu traditions with indigenous customs. He introduced Shaivism, Vaishnavism, Sanskrit, and Hindu rituals to the region. One of Funan’s last powerful rulers, Jayavarman I (5th–6th century CE), played a significant role in strengthening Hindu traditions. Following his reign, Funan declined, paving the way for the rise of the Chenla kingdom. The Chenla Kingdom (6th–9th century CE) played a crucial role in solidifying Hinduism’s presence, as its rulers constructed numerous temples dedicated to Vishnu and Shiva. Bhavavarman I (6th century CE), influenced by the Pallava rulers of South India, promoted Shaivism and established lingams and Shiva symbols as royal emblems. Mahendravarman (7th century CE) continued the Shaivite tradition, building many temples that honored Shiva as the principal deity. Jayavarman I (7th century CE) reinforced the concept of Devaraja (God-King), where rulers were perceived as living embodiments of Hindu gods, particularly Shiva or Vishnu, laying the foundation for Khmer Hindu kingship. Jayavarman II (9th century CE), the founder of the Khmer Empire, was one of Cambodia’s most significant Hindu rulers. He firmly established the Devaraja concept, identified himself as a devotee of Lord Shiva, and made Mahendraparvata his capital, where he performed Hindu rituals to legitimize his rule. The worship of Lord Shiva (Shaivism) and Lord Vishnu (Vaishnavism) in Cambodia originated during the Funan period (1st–6th century CE) and grew more prominent under the Chenla kingdom (6th–9th century CE). These religious traditions were primarily introduced through Indian cultural influence, particularly from South India and the Pallava dynasty, known for their strong patronage of Hinduism. Hinduism thrived during the 9th century CE, as many Khmer kings embraced its traditions to legitimize their divine authority. They constructed temples and incorporated Hindu deities into their political and religious framework. This influence persisted throughout the Angkor Empire, gradually merging with Buddhism over time. Vishnu Purana narrates a story in which Vishnu’s 5th avatar (incarnation), Vamana asked for land from Daitya King Mahabali and how Bali left India to settle in South America. Vamana asking 3 quarters of land from Bali Hiranyakasipu was a Daitya(son of Diti, not a demon). Diti was second daughter of Daksha (first was Aditi, who gave birth to Devas). Diti married to Kashyapa, a seer and had sons named as Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakasipu. Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakasipu. Hiranyaksha drowned the single super-continent Pangea into single global ocean, Panthalassa. He was killed by Vishnu’s 3rd avatar Varaha and present ‘Sweta Varaha Kalpa‘ started. Later Vishnu also killed Hiranyakasipu during his 4th avatar of Narasimha (Half Lion, Half Man) and made his son Prahlada as king. Prahlada’s son was Virochana (Viracocha in Inca Mythology) and his son was Bali (Mahabali). When Bali was performing Yagna under supervision of his guru Sukracharya, Vishnu came as Vamana(dwarf or kid) and asked for donation of ‘three pada Bhoomi.’ This is wrongly interpreted as 3 foot land. Infact it is 3 quarters of Land (pada here is similar to nakshatra pada in vedic astrology, where each nakshatra is divided into 4 padas [quarters]). At that time, Bali was ruling over Asia, Europe and Africa. So he donated these 3 human inhabitated lands to Vamana and decided to leave. Vamana was satisfied with Bali and gave him a boon of becoming next Indra, but until then he has to settle in Patala loka and perform yagnas. Bali travelled towards east in a ship with his men in same path as described by Sugreeva in Ramayana and settled in South America. On this path he discovered Sutala (Islands in South East Asia and Australia), Talatala (Antarctica) and Patala (South America). His men created settlements even in Mahatala (North America). atala vitala sutala mahatala rasatala patala talatala People residing in these places were known as ‘Talatalak’. This name corrupted to ‘Toltec’. Toltecs still exist in Mexico of South America. Maya (founder of Mayan Calendar) was an engineer, who built three cities for Bali. Maya built 3 cities for his king Bali and thus Bali was called as ‘tribhuvanak‘ (lord of 3 cities). This word later got corrupted toTiahuanaco in Mexico. The Nazca Lines in USA are supposed to be air plane landing markings made by Bali. Patala was later inhabitated by people called as ‘Sarpa’, who went there on behest of Waman to keep watch on Bali’s activities. Total seven colonies were new, therefore they were called as ‘Navatala’. Nava means new and Tala means colony. This word ‘Navatala’, in a corrupt form as ‘Nahuatl’, still exists in the South America. People residing in Mexico and around are known as ‘Nava’ and their language is called as ‘Nahuatl’. #VoiceofMaheedhar #MPlanetLeaf #MaheedharsPlanetLeaf #Hinduism #Sanatanadharmam #Bhakti #History #RealFacts #Maheedhar #Facts #Mysteries #historical #trending #bharatavarsha #unknownfacts #ancientscience

The temple, an example of Vijayanagara architectural style, is dated to the 16th century. It is stated to be the largest temple in the region. It is located at a distance of 25 kilometres (16 mi) from Kadapa and is close to Rajampet. The temple and its adjoining buildings are one of the centrally protected monuments of national importance. According to the local legend, the temple was built by Vontudu and Mittudu they are from nishada (boya) vamsha, who were robbers-turned-devotees of Rama. After building the temple, they are said to have turned into stone. Though the temple was developed during the reign of Cholakings, Agnikulas and Vijayanagara kings around the 16th century, the main diety idols are from Treta yuga. As per the legend, the single stone idols are carved at the time of Sita Rama vanavasam. Bammera Potana who lived in Vontimitta wrote his magnum opus Maha Bhagavatham in Telugu language and dedicated it to Rama. Vavilakolanu Subba Rao, known as ‘Andhra Valmiki’ for translating Valmiki’s Ramayana into Telugu also spent his time here worshipping Rama. The saint-poet Annamacharya is said to have visited the temple and composed and sang songs or kirtans in praise of Rama. Jean-Baptiste Tavernier, a French traveler who had visited this temple in 1652, appreciated the elegance of the temple's architecture. Much more is explained in Telugu in our above video. Fossils of "Vasuki Indicus," a giant prehistoric snake, were discovered in Gujarat, India, and are estimated to have lived around 47 million years ago, potentially being one of the largest snakes ever. Here's a more detailed look at the discovery and what we know about this massive snake: Discovery Location: The fossils, including 27 vertebrae, were found in a lignite mine in Gujarat, India. Age: The snake, named Vasuki indicus, is estimated to have lived around 47 million years ago, during the Middle Eocene period. Size: Researchers estimate that Vasuki indicus could have reached lengths between 10.9 and 15.2 meters (36 to 50 feet), making it comparable in size to a school bus or a railway coach. Classification: Vasuki indicus belonged to the now-extinct Madtsoiidae snake family, but represents a unique lineage from India. Name Origin: The name "Vasuki" comes from the divine serpent king in Hindu mythology, Vasuki, who is a giant, powerful serpent that coils around Lord Shiva's neck. Significance: The discovery is significant because it provides insights into prehistoric biodiversity in India and helps understand the evolution of giant snakes. Research: Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee studied the fossils and confirmed that they belonged to a new species of giant snake. Initial Misidentification: The fossils were initially mistaken for those of a crocodile-like reptile, but further analysis confirmed that they belonged to a prehistoric snake. Other Fossils: Other fossils found in the area included crocodilians, turtles, fish, and two primitive whales. Extinction: The Madtsoiidae snake family, to which Vasuki indicus belonged, appeared roughly 90 million years ago but went extinct about 12,000 years ago. Nepal's Bhoot Mela: The annual "Bhoot Mela" in Nepal takes place on the Kamala River embankments during Kartik Purnima, with people believing bathing in the river wards off evil spirits. Shamans conduct ceremonies for ancestral spirits, with chanters dancing and chanting. About the 'ghost fair' or 'bhoot mela' This annual ghost fair sees thousands of devotees from different parts of the country to participate in this unique fair. It is said that people who are allegedly possessed by ghosts and evil spirits are brought here and as soon as they come here, they start behaving in their possessed form. Once these people are brought here Maa Bhagwati cures them with the help of ‘tantriks’ present at the temple who perform exorcism. As mentioned above, Maa Bhagwati appears here in three forms on Chaitra Navratri. Maa Bhagwati appearing as Pindi, fulfills the wishes of those wanting to have a child. Mother Goddess in Adi Shakti form appears as a black stone idol, which fulfills all the wishes of her devotees'. Apart from this, Maa Bhagwati gives darshan to the devotees in the form of divine power. However, not everyone gets to participate in this darshan. Maa Bhagwati gives darshan only to those devotees who worship the Mother Goddess with true heart and complete faith. Jinn Baba also resides here along with Maa Bhagwati There is no place for jinns in Hindu temples, but this temple is unique because along with Maa Bhagwati, Jinn Baba also has resides in the temple premises. Therefore, this unique feature makes this temple very popular among people of different sects and religions, namely the Hindus and Muslims. People offer sheets of clothes (chadar) to Jinn Baba to seek his blessings and get their wishes fulfilled. According to the temple Mahant apart from Maa Bhagwati and Jinn Baba, Lord Bholenath, Ram Janaki, Brahma Baba, and Maa Sati also reside within the temple premises. Ghosts are imprisoned at Dom Dank For those people coming here to be cured of the ghosts and evil spirits there is a huge Havan Kund within the temple premises, where when the afflicted people are brought here, they start dancing in their possessed form. After this, the tantriks present there allegedly perform exorcism on these people apparently freeing these possessed people of the ghost(s) and evil spirits. These alleged spirits and ghosts are in turn imprisoned by the exorcist who hooks these them on to the Peepal tree located next to the temple which is known as Dom Dak. This way these possessed people are cured. After this, these people are said to be cured from their ghostly possessions and can go to their homes as free and happy people. #bhootmela #VoiceofMaheedhar #MPlanetLeaf #MaheedharsPlanetLeaf #Hinduism #Sanatanadharmam #Bhakti #History #RealFacts #Maheedhar #Facts #Mysteries #historical #trending #bharatavarsha #unknownfacts #ancientscience
